The iconic black London taxi is to be partly made in China, manufacturers announced, with production of the body panels and chassis shifting to Shanghai.

Manganese Bronze, the leading manufacturer of the famous cabs, said the parts for its TX4 vehicles will be made in Shanghai, in a move costing 60 jobs at its plant in Coventry, west central England.
The company already makes taxis in Shanghai for the Chinese and international markets, under a joint venture.
Manganese's London Taxis International arm, based in Coventry, has manufactured the cabs since 1948, but will now switch to an assembly role.
The move "will lead to a smaller, lower-cost UK operation with a much greater level of supply from China," said Manganese chief executive John Russell.
"Because we are very much a British brand, and that was of immense value to our customers, it seemed the best option to maintain a smaller manufacturing presence in Coventry," said Manganese chief executive John Russell.
Top of the range TX4s can cost almost STG37,000 ($A61,288) from new.
Currently around STG5,000 ($A8,282) of the 23,000 pounds cost of a taxi's components is spent with Chinese manufacturers.
Manganese's underlying pre-tax losses worsened to STG8.1 million ($A13.42 million) last year from STG6.2 million ($A10.27 million) in 2008.

WASHINGTON -- For much of the past decade, the economic relationship between the U.S. and China was like a bartender and his favorite patron.
American consumers knocked back flat-panel TVs, laptops and assorted other made-in-China products while Beijing rang up the charges, extending more and more credit so the customer could keep drinking.
On paper, the Chinese accumulated hundreds of billions of U.S. dollars. But instead of cashing in its horde, China lent much of it back to Americans to help finance ever-higher consumer borrowing, as well as federal deficits and cheap mortgages.
It was a mutually beneficial arrangement -- until the morning after, when bartender and customer blamed each other for a doozy of a hangover.
With the Great Recession putting that mountain of American debt in a new, unsettling light, the two countries are eyeing each other with growing resentment -- each showering the other with unwelcome demands for policy changes.
The tensions are being aggravated by domestic politics in both countries.
"The proverbial train wreck may be coming to pass," said Nicholas Lardy, a prominent China expert at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington.
Chinese officials have begun to warn that if Washington doesn't curb its widening deficits and stop badgering China to make concessions on currency and export policies, Beijing may begin dumping dollars. Or it might at least cut back on the massive buying of Treasury bonds that Washington depends on to finance its deficit.
Such a response could inflict economic pain on millions of Americans, costing jobs and hurting the recovery, some economists say.
But China is over a barrel too. If Beijing tightened the screws, the value of the dollar would decline. The value of China's holdings would shrink as well, as would Americans' consumption of Chinese products. Even with the recession, U.S. imports from China amounted to a whopping $296 billion last year, while exports to China were just $70 billion, according to U.S. data.
Beijing has no ready replacement for the U.S. as its biggest customer. And years of rapid growth and rising prosperity have created popular expectations in China that the ruling communist hierarchy cannot easily ignore -- especially the opinions of its increasingly vocal business community and middle class.
The basic question is how to reshape the U.S.-China relationship on a more sustainable and balanced basis. That process is almost certain to require uncomfortable changes on both sides.
But right now, the historic drama is playing out in an arcane argument over currency exchange rates -- the value of the Chinese yuan versus the U.S. dollar.
Scores of U.S. lawmakers have demanded that China strengthen its currency, so its goods wouldn't be so cheap in the U.S. and other foreign markets. Raising the value of the yuan could also encourage China to buy more American products.
"The silence of our government on China's currency manipulation has become the silence of our factories," said Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee.
She and other members of Congress are pushing the Treasury Department to label China a currency manipulator in its next review, due April 15, which could lead to tariffs on Chinese goods.
Outside Congress, leading free-trade proponents, including Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman, have joined labor leaders such as Leo W. Gerard, international president of the United Steelworkers union, in denouncing Beijing's refusal to act.
Twice in the past two months, President Barack Obama has called on the Chinese to act on their currency. Each time he got a sharp, negative response. In part that may have been Beijing's instinctive reaction against being told what to do, but that's far from the only reason.
"For the Chinese government, it's not only about losing face and confidence, it's also about the economy," said Zhou Shijian, a senior research fellow at the Center for U.S.-China relations at Tsinghua University who cited a 16 percent drop in Chinese exports last year. "Appreciating the yuan will impact the economy and social stability, not just face."
Outside China, few dispute that the yuan is undervalued, and most say by 25 percent or more. But there are differences over how much even a big increase in its value would help employment in the U.S. -- or hurt it in China.
Drew Greenblatt, president of Marlin Steel Wire Products in Baltimore, calculates that he could double his company's payroll to 60 if the Chinese currency rose by 25 percent or more against the dollar. That would more than offset the 10 percent to 15 percent cost disadvantage that Marlin's wire baskets now have against made-in-China competitors.
Revaluing the yuan "would absolutely help my business," Greenblatt said.
Krugman, the economist, estimates that China's currency policy -- and resulting large trade surpluses -- may end up costing about 1.4 million jobs in the U.S. in the next couple of years.
But Lardy of the Peterson Institute calls that a "substantial overstatement" that assumes a return to surging Chinese trade surpluses with the United States. During the 2008-09 recession, China's surplus narrowed sharply.
"The big question is whether the surplus continues to come down or rise back up," he said.
Assuming China and a few other competing Asian countries let their currencies rise 20 percent, Lardy estimates that would lead to a 3 percent decline in the value of the dollar against an average of other trading partner currencies. By one rule of thumb, that would translate into only 450,000 added U.S. jobs.
Beyond the specifics of currency values, many Americans see an opportunity to correct years of economic imbalances and make the U.S. save more, import less and rebuild its manufacturing strength.
With the exception of a couple of years, U.S. factory employment has been falling continuously since the late 1970s.
It's been the reverse for China. Growth in manufacturing has lifted millions out of poverty and catapulted the Middle Kingdom to global superpower status.
And Chinese officials are feeling pressure to maintain that growth -- and therefore not to revalue the yuan.
Ada Dong, who heads marketing at Johnny Vico Infant & Gift Products, a Chinese baby-bottle manufacturer, says a revaluation could devastate the company, which is only now beginning to see a rebound in its recession-dampened U.S. and European sales.
A stronger yuan would "have a huge impact" on the price that the firm could offer foreign customers, she said, adding that low prices are "the primary reason our customers come to us."
The fundamental concern for both Washington and Beijing is employment, said Zhou, the Tsinghua University researcher.
"For the U.S. to create 2 million jobs, they're hoping the (yuan) will appreciate 30 percent to 40 percent," he said. "But that would mean 20 million migrant workers would lose their jobs. The Chinese government is facing the same pressure."

BEIJING — Chinese automaker Zhejiang Geely Holding Group expects to spend hundreds of millions of dollars beyond the $1.8 billion purchase price for Volvo Cars to make the Swedish car company profitable, Geely's chairman said Tuesday.
Geely is projecting a total tab of $2.7 billion for its takeover of Volvo, with money beyond the purchase price to be spent on expanding production, chairman Li Shufu told reporters.
Li said half of the total cost would be financed from overseas and half from within China, divided between Chinese banks and Geely itself.
In studying Volvo, Geely found the company had high research and development costs but made cars on a much smaller scale than high-end rivals Daimler AG and BMW AG, said Li. "We will find a way to let Volvo's technology play a better role and to expand their scale in order to lower the costs," Li said.
Geely's acquisition of Volvo from Ford Motor Co. has been heralded as breakthrough deal for China's auto industry, giving one of its most ambitious automakers a well-known, prestigious global brand and access to top-tier technology.
Li said Geely would not seek to impose its own corporate culture on Volvo but rather find ways to let the Swedish company exploit its strengths.
"Geely is Geely, Volvo is Volvo. Geely will not produce Volvo, and Volvo will not produce Geely," Li said. He compared Geely's and Volvo's relationship to two brothers, not to a father and son.

Judging by the reaction of the business press, Chinese automaker Geely's purchase of Volvo from Ford for $1.8 billion is an epochal, world-transformative event.
A landmark agreement designed to vault the Chinese company onto the global automotive stage... the latest example of how China's economic rise is reshaping large swaths of global business...
A bellwether for China's ambitions to add supremacy in global automaking to its newly won title as the world's largest vehicle market.... emblematic of the shift in the global car industry's center of gravity from the US and western Europe to China.

[The] acquisition is a big, big deal for Geely, and for China. It sends up a bright, flashing warning signal to the rest of the global auto industry that China is deadly serious about becoming a significant player in the international car market, and that its companies command the resources and guts to make that goal a reality.
Landmark... emblematic... deadly serious... Sure, the deal is all of those things, at a historical juncture where every Chinese move is interpreted via a framing in which China is rising while the West is falling. But is it a good business deal? Ford bought Volvo for $6.5 billion in 1999 and watched the subsidiary lose money every single year since, to the point where selling it to a Chinese up-and-comer for a quarter of the original purchase price was considered smart business... for Ford.
Geely gets an international dealer network, advanced automotive technology, and a gold-plated brand for what appears to be a cut-rate price. That seems pretty savvy. And I'll bet Geely will be able to manufacture Volvos in China for sale to Chinese buyers for quite a lot less expenditure per car than, say, in Sweden for export to the U.S. But whether or not that strategy will end up undermining the global power of the brand will be something to watch. Geely could just as easily destroy Volvo as use it pole-vault into world-market prominence.
Changing center of gravity? The lasting impression left with me is more of a scavenger scoring at the flea market than a new power rising in the East. With Western economies in disarray, there's bound to be a bargain or two available.

أوقفت شركة "تويوتا" اليابانية لصناعة السيارات إنتاجها لمدة أربعة أيام في مصنعها في فرنسا، وثمانية أيام في بريطانيا بسبب تدهور المبيعات المرتبطة بأزمة العيوب الفنية الأخيرة.
وسيتوقف مصنع أونانج في شمال فرنسا الذي يصنع السيارة "ياريس" عن الإنتاج من السادس إلى التاسع من أبريل القادم، حسب وكالة "كيودو" اليابانية للأنباء يوم الجمعة.
وفي بريطانيا، سيتم تعليق الإنتاج من التاسع والعشرين من مارس حتى الأول من أبريل ثم مجددا من السادس إلى التاسع من أبريل.
وكانت "تويوتا" قد استدعت نحو تسعة ملايين سيارة من أنحاء العالم في الأشهر الأخيرة، منها أكثر من 1.8 مليون سيارة في أوروبا، بسبب عيوب تقنية أصابت نظام الفرملة أو دواسات السرعة في عدد كبير من الموديلات.

حذرت الشركة المصرية العالمية للتجارة والتوكيلات EIT الوكيل الحصري لسيارات "كيا" الكورية الجنوبية في مصر عملائها من شراء سيارات "كيا" التي يتم استيرادها عن غير طريق الوكيل.
وفي إعلان مطول بالصحف المصرية يوم الجمعة أكدت EIT أنها غير مسؤولة عن ضمان وخدمة تلك السيارات، موضحة أن ضمان الوكيل هو ضمان الشركة المصرية العالمية للتجارة والتوكيلات، وهو عبارة عن ضمان لمدة خمس سنوات أو 100.000 كم أيهما أقرب.
وطالبت الشركة عملائها بالتأكد من وجود ختم الشركة المعتمد على دفتر الضمان، والذي يحمل اسم الشركة.
كما أوصى وكيل "كيا" الحصري في مصر بعدم شراء السيارات من خارج صالات عرض الشركة أو أحد موزعيها المعتمدين في جميع أنحاء الجمهورية.
يذكر أن هناك عدة شركات تقوم باستيراد سيارات "كيا" و غيرها من الماركات المنتشرة في مصر من بعض الدول المجاورة، بهدف بيعها بسعر أقل من سعر الوكيل الرسمي، وهو ما يعرض تلك السيارات إلى الحرمان من خدمات الصيانة التي يوفرها الوكيل.

ألزمت وزارة التجارة والصناعة شركة (DME أبو الفتوح) وكيل سيارات "اسبيرانزا" الصينية في مصر بإصلاح عيوب فنية موجودة بتلك السيارات شكا منها أصحاب سيارات التاكسي الجديد من الماركة الصينية.
وجاء القرار الوزاري بعد فحص اللجنة الفنية التي تضم خبراء من مصلحة الرقابة الصناعية، وكلية الهندسة فرع المطرية وهيئة المواصفات والجودة وممثلين عن شركة "اسبيرانزا" 17 شكوى تقدم بها أصحاب سيارات التاكسي ماركة "اسبيرانزا" إلى وزير التجارة والصناعة. بحسب تقارير محلية يوم السبت.
وقال المهندس رشيد محمد رشيد وزير التجارة والصناعة إن القرار يأتي في إطار تطبيق منظومة متكاملة من الإجراءات لمواجهة السلع المغشوشة والضارة وغير المطابقة للمواصفات سواء المستوردة أو المنتجة محلياً.
من جانبه، أوضح الدكتور هاني بركات رئيس هيئة المواصفات والجودة ومصلحة الرقابة الصناعية إن اللجنة ألزمت شركة "اسبيرانزا" بإصلاح العيوب الفنية والتي تم تحديدها بمعرفة اللجنة بدون أي رسوم أو مصاريف من أصحاب الشكاوى.
كما تقرر إضافة مدة معينة للضمان على قطع الغيار التي سيتم استبدالها على أن تتولى الشركة تحديد الفترة الزمنية الجديدة للضمان.
وأضاف أنه تم إلزام الشركة أيضا بضرورة تقديم التسهيلات والتيسيرات اللازمة لأصحاب التاكسي الشاكين للقيام بالإصلاحات في أسرع وقت داخل مراكز الصيانة الخاصة بالشركة، مشيراً إلى أن "اسبيرانزا" بدأت بالفعل في فحص السيارات وإجراء الإصلاحات اللازمة وأن مصلحة الرقابة الصناعية ستتابع جميع الخطوات للتأكد من حل المشكلة وحصول أصحاب التاكسي على حقوقهم.

أعلنت الشركة المصرية التجارية وأوتوموتيف وكيل سيارات "فولكس فاجن" الألمانية في مصر عرضا جديدا ولفترة محدودة على السيارة "جيتا".
يتضمن العرض تخفيض سعر جيتا إلى 200.000 جنيه بدلاً من 205.000 جنيه ولفترة محدودة مع ضمان عامين من دون حد أقصى للكيلومترات.
كانت الشركة قد طرحت العرض ذاته خلال معرض "فورميلا الأهرام" في يناير الماضي على موديل 2010 من السيارة "جيتا" بالمواصفات الجديدة.
مميزاتها
وذكرت الشركة من خلال حملة إعلانية أن "جيتا" مزودة بمحرك 1600 سي سي بقوة 102 حصان موصول بناقل حركة أوتوماتيكي DSG 7 سرعات ما يعطيها نسبة تسارع من الصفر إلى 100 كم في 11.4 ثانية فقط.
واستهلاكها للوقود يقدر بـ6.7 لتر لكل 100 كيلو ، فضلا على احتوائها العديد من تجهيزات الأمان ، فـ"جيتا" مجهزة بستة وسائد هوائية بالإضافة إلى فرامل تعمل بنظام ABS مانع الإنغلاق ونظام ESP مانع الإنزلاق بالإضافة إلى مساند رأس ديناميكية أمامية ، و3 مساند خلفية وعدد 3 أحزمة أمان خلفية ذات نقاط تثبيت في الخلف قابلة للتعديل.

أما أبعاد السيارة فهي 4554 مم للطول ، و1781 للعرض وارتفاعها 1459 مم يجعلها مناسبة للشارع المصري بالإضافة للرحابة والإتساع الذي تتمتع به "جيتا" من الداخل.
وتقدم الشركة المصرية التجارية وأوتوموتيف "جيتا" بثلاثة طرازات الأول يحتوي على "باور ستيرينج" وغلق مركزي للأبواب وريموت كنترول وتكيف أوتوماتيكي مزدوج للتحكم في درجة الحرارة في كل جوانب السيارة ، بالإضافة إلى راديو CD وزجاج كهربائي أمامي وخلفي ومرايات كهربائية.
أما الموديل الثاني فيحتوي على كل التجهيزات السابقة بالإضافة إلى جنوط سبور مقاس 16 بوصة وراديو CD/MP3 يعمل بنظام Touch Screen وعجلة قيادة متعددة الوظائف ومثبت سرعة وحساسات انتظار ونظام مراقبة الإطارات.
والطراز الثالث يحتوي على كل الكماليات السابقة بالإضافة إلى فتحت سقف ومصابيح Xenon ومصابيح ضباب أمامية وحلى من الكروم حول النوافذ الجانبية.

نشرت الشركة المصرية العالمية للسيارات (EIM) وكيل سيارات "رينو" الفرنسية في مصر إعلانا يوم السبت في ملحق السيارات التابع لمؤسسة أخبار اليوم عن السيارة "لوجان" يشير إلى أن سعرها بات يبدأ من 57.000 جنيه رسميا.
وتم طرح السيارة في مصر قبل عام تقريبا بسعر يبدأ من 55.900 جنيه، أي أن سعرها زاد نحو 1000 جنيه خلال عام.
وكانت (EIM) قد طرحت "لوجان" لأول مرة قبل عام بثلاثة طرازات ، الأول سعره 55.900 جنيها بناقل حركة يدوي و من دون أي كماليات ، والثاني سعره 62.900 جنيها ، وبه باور ستيرنج ، تكيف ، سنتر لوك ، زجاج كهرباء أمامي ، أما الطراز الثالث فسعره 66.900 جنيها بها كافة كماليات الطراز الثاني فضلا عن زجاج كهربائي خلفي ، فوانيس ضباب ، مرايات كهرباء.
أول سيارة أوروبية في مصر
ودخلت "لوجان" التي باتت أول سيارة أوروبية في مصر للسوق المحلية وفقا لاتفاقية أغادير التي تضم أربعة دول هي مصر والمغرب وتونس والأردن ، وحظيت السيارة " المجمعة بمصانع شركة "رينو" بالمغرب، والتي تتمتع بالإعفاء الجمركي طبقاً للاتفاقية بإقبال كبير في مصر، حيث تتميز السيارة بالعملية والاقتصادية في التشغيل إلى جانب تصميمها المتميز وسعرها التنافسي.
انتشرت بشدة في مصر
وتعمل شركة "رينو" في المغرب، من خلال مصنع "صوماكا" بالدار البيضاء الذي أنتج حوالي 30 ألف سيارة العام الماضي ، كما تم تصدير "لوجان" إلى فرنسا وإسبانيا.
وشهدت السيارة منذ طرحها في الأسواق المصرية ، إقبالاً كبيراًَ وحجوزات فاقت كل التوقعات، وتعكس الحجوزات الكبيرة وقائمة الانتظار التي شهدتها السيارة، مدى ثقة المستهلك المصري في السيارة ووكيلها الشركة المصرية العالمية للسيارات (EIM).
استفادت "لوجان" من جميع خبرات مهندسي"رينو" في مجال جودة التصميم والإنتاج، حيث استطاعوا إنتاج السيارة بشكل صغير وبسيط من الخارج واتساع المقصورة الداخلية من الداخل لراحة ورفاهية الراكبين، بجانب عفشتها المصممة خصيصا لتحمل المطبات داخل مصر ، وانخفاض صوتها إلى أقصى درجة ، كما أنها بمحرك قوة 1600 سي سي وبقوة دفع 90 حصانا وبعزم يصل إلى 128 نيوتن عند 300 دورة.
وتتميز "لوجان" بتصميم غاية جميل ، حيث جمعت بين التكنولوجيا الحديثة المبتكرة في عالم السيارات والحجم المثالي الصغير الذي يجعلها أكثر ملائمة للسير داخل مصر، فضلا عن قدرتها في الهروب من الزحام بغير عناء لصغر حجمها.

"فولفو" أصبحت صينية الإدارة
وقعت مجموعة "جيلي" الصينية أكبر شركة خاصة لصناعة السيارات في الصين إتفاقا للاستحواذ على شركة "فولفو" السويدية التابعة لشركة "فورد" الأمريكية لصناعة السيارات.
وذكرت تقارير صحفية عالمية يوم الأحد أنه بإتمام هذه الصفقة أصبحت الصين قوة كبرى في صناعة السيارات العالمية كما تنهي مفاوضات استمرت نحو عامين مع "جيلي" بشأن بيع "فولفو" الوحدة المتبقية لـ"فورد" التي سيجري بيعها بعد "أستون مارتن" و"جاجوار" و"لاند روفر".
ومن شأن الصفقة التي يرغب الطرفان في استكمالها خلال الأشهر المقبلة أن توفر سيولة نقدية لثاني أكبر شركة لصناعة السيارات في الولايات المتحدة وأن تمكنها من التركيز على علامة "فورد" التجارية الأساسية.
وقالت "فورد" في أكتوبر الماضي إنها تعتبر "جيلي" الصينية أفضل المتقدمين بعروض للاستحواذ على الوحدة السويدية.
وتعتزم "جيلي" الإبقاء على العلامة التجارية والعمليات في السويد بما في ذلك المقر الرئيسي لـ"فولفو" ومرفق الإنتاج ومركز الأبحاث.
ويعتزم لي شوفو رئيس مجلي إدارة "جيلي" بالفعل إنشاء مصنع في بكين من شأنه أن ينتج 300 ألف سيارة تحمل العلامة التجارية "فولفو" أو إنتاج سيارات "فولفو" في الصين بعدد يماثل ذلك الذي يجري تصنيعه في الخارج للأجانب.

كشف خالد سعد نائب المدير العام لقطاع مبيعات "بريليانس" عن قرب الإعلان عن مفاجأة من العيار الثقيل قد تهز سوق السيارات المصري.
وذكرت صحيفة "الأهرام" عبر ملحقها المتخصص في السيارات أن المجموعة البافارية وكيل سيارات "بريليانس" الصينية في مصر بصدد طرح سيارة ذات دفع رباعي 4X4 قريبا في الأسواق.
الجدير بالذكر أن "بريليانس" أحد أهم العلامات الصينية العاملة في مصر، ولها أربعة موديلات هي (جالينا ، سبليندور، FRV ،FSV).
وتفتقد مجموعة "بريليانس" لأي سيارة ذات دفع رباعي على العكس من منافستها الأساسية محليا "اسبيرانزا" التي لديها "تيجو" ذات الدفع الثنائي والرباعي أيضا.

التاكسي الجديد نجح في جذب المواطنين
قال الدكتور أحمد أبو السعود رئيس الإدارة المركزية لنوعية الهواء بوزارة البيئة إن مشروع إحلال التاكسي الجديد محل القديم ، "حسِّن سلوك السائقين في الشارع وفي التعامل مع المواطنين".
وأضاف أبوالسعود خلال حديثه لبرنامج "صباح الخير يا مصر" يوم الأحد أن مشروع إحلال التاكسي ساهم في رواج مبيعات السيارات في الوقت الذي عانت فيه الصناعة من ركود عميق تحت ضغوط الأزمة المالية العالمية ، موضحا أن هذا المشروع أسهم بشكل فعال في عمل المصانع ثلاثة ورديات يوميا.
وكان الدكتور يوسف بطرس غالي وزير المالية قد أعلن مد المرحلة الأولى من مشروع إحلال التاكسي لمنتصف مارس الحالي بدلا من نهاية فبراير نظرا للإقبال الكبير على المشاركة بالمشروع للاستفادة من مميزاته وسط توقعات ببلوغ عدد المستفيدين حتى نهاية المرحلة نحو 20 ألفا.
وأشار غالي إلى أن تقارير التقييم الخاصة بالمشروع أكدت تزايد الإقبال عليه من أصحاب السيارات القديمة، حيث أصدرت البنوك أكثر من 29 ألف موافقة على طلبات القروض

السائقون يشكون من معاملة رجال المرور
دخل عشرات السائقون في محافظة شمال سيناء في إضراب مفتوح إحتجاجاً على ما وصفوه بالمعاملة السيئة من جانب رجال المرور، وهو ما أدى إلى حالة من الشلل التام لحركة الركاب بالمحافظة.
وقام عشرات السائقون بالتوقف عن العمل إحتجاجا على الغرامات الباهظة من المرور والمخالفات المبالغ فيها ضدهم، حسب صحيفة "اليوم السابع" يوم الأحد.
وقال علي أبو السعود رئيس المجلس المحلي لمركز بئر العبد أن حوالي 70 سيارة من الأجرة "البيك أب" أضربت اليوم عن العمل ولهم عدة مطالب مشروعة منها حسن المعاملة في نيابة المرور، خاصة أنه لا توجد إلا نيابة واحدة في العريش ما يجبر السائق على السفر لمسافة 130 كم ذهاباً وإياباً لاستخراج شهادة المخالفات.
وأشار أبو السعود إلى أن هناك عدد من السائقين اكتشفوا وجود مخالفات تتخطى قيمة السيارة نفسها، حيث اكتشف البعض وجود مخالفات تصل قيمتها إلى 22.000 جنية، ووجود آخرون مخالفاتهم قد وصلت إلى 14.000 و12.000 جنيه، في الوقت الذي لا يتعدى أقصى إيراد سنوي لأي سيارة 5 أو 6 آلاف.
وأدى إضراب السائقين إلى توقف تام للحركة على (الطريق الدولي – القنطرة - بئر العبد) في ظل كثرة سيارات الأجرة العاملة على الخط والمشاركة في الإضراب.

أكد الكيميائي مدحت يوسف رئيس شركة الشرق الأوسط لتكرير البترول " ميدور" أن الشركة ستقوم بتوجيه كامل إنتاجها من البنزين اعتبارا من بداية شهر أبريل المقبل للسوق المحلي على حساب التصدير.
وأشار يوسف إلى أن هذا الإجراء يأتي وفقا لاستراتيجية وزارة البترول بإعطاء الأولوية للسوق المحلي لينضم البنزين إلى السولار الذي يوجه كامل إنتاجه للسوق المحلي.وذلك وفقا لتصريحاته لصحيفة "الأخبار" يوم الثلاثاء.
ومن جانبه ، أكد المهندس سامح فهمي وزير البترول أهمية صناعة التكرير باعتبارها من الصناعات الاستراتيجية والمصدر الرئيسي لتأمين احتياجات البلاد من المنتجات البترولية المختلفة.
وطالب فهمي بالاستمرار في تحسين اقتصاديات تشغيل معامل التكرير المصرية بهدف الاستغلال الأمثل للطاقات الإنتاجية لتحسين العائدات وزيادة القيمة المضافة في ظل التحديات التي تواجه صناعة التكرير على المستوي العالمي .
يذكر أن البنزين (80 أوكتين) الوحيد الذي لم يزد سعره منذ الزيادات الأخيرة التي تمت العام الماضي ، ما زاد من الإقبال عليه بشدة.
